Role Overview

The Project Head will be responsible for leading large-scale Greenfield CAPEX projects in Egypt from concept to commissioning. This includes end-to-end ownership of project planning, budgeting, civil works, execution, and implementation, while also ensuring compliance with sustainability, green belt, and environmental standards. The role demands strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and strategic leadership to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead project feasibility, CAPEX planning, budgeting, and approvals.
• Develop detailed project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation plans.
• Oversee design, civil construction, utilities, and infrastructure development.
• Drive execution from project initiation to commissioning, ensuring adherence to cost, time, and quality parameters.
• Establish robust monitoring, reporting, and governance mechanisms.

Stakeholder Management & Coordination

• Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, HR, and operations to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide timely updates and strategic inputs to management and the board.

Sustainability & Green Zone Development

• Integrate green belt and green zone initiatives into overall project design.
• Oversee landscaping, plantation, water conservation, waste management, and pollution-control projects.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian environmental laws and global sustainability standards.
• Drive CSR-linked environmental projects and community engagement activities.
• Monitor and report environmental KPIs and ensure certification/audit readiness.

Leadership & Governance

• Build and mentor a strong multidisciplinary project team.
• Implement risk management strategies, ensuring safety and statutory compliance.
• Promote a culture of sustainability, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering; Masters degree (Project Management /

Business / Environmental Studies) preferred.

• 15-20 years of experience managing large-scale Greenfield industrial/capital projects.
• Proven track record in handling multi-million-dollar CAPEX projects from ground-breaking to commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of civil works, utilities, project implementation, and financial planning.
• Exposure to sustainability/green zone initiatives and environmental compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Prior experience in international projects (preferably Middle East/Africa) will be an added

advantage.
