Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of project managers and coordinators in the execution of localization projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Pollion s quality standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end management of multiple, concurrent localization projects, from initiation through delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are consistently met.
- Develop and implement project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to optimize team performance and project outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing expectations, providing regular updates, and addressing any issues or escalations promptly.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between linguists, engineers, content creators, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges or delays.
- Analyze project metrics and performance data to drive continuous improvement in processes, resource allocation, and client satisfaction.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to project proposals, resource planning, and client presentations.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, professional growth, and innovation within the project management team.
- Ensure all localization deliverables adhere to industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on localization or multilingual content delivery.
- Proven track record of leading and developing project teams in a remote or distributed work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience working with project management tools and localization platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Solid understanding of localization workflows, industry standards, and best practices.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
