Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals and operational requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and implementation schedules.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities to ensure successful and timely delivery.
  • Monitor project progress against milestones and adjust plans when required to maintain project objectives.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including clinical teams, administration, finance, and IT departments.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
  • Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment between all involved parties.

Project Coordination

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration and alignment across project activities.
  • Identify project dependencies and ensure proper sequencing and execution of tasks.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, discussions, and review sessions.
  • Support effective coordination between operational and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Healthcare Systems Implementation

  • Support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of healthcare systems, including:
    • Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
    • Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
    • Enterprise systems such as ERP, scheduling, and billing platforms
  • Ensure implemented solutions align with clinical workflows, operational requirements, and business needs.
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to support successful system integration and deployment.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify potential project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor, track, and manage project issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Escalate critical risks, delays, or operational concerns when necessary.
  • Ensure proactive problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.

Change Management & User Adoption

  • Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth project implementation and transition.
  • Coordinate user training sessions, awareness programs, and readiness activities.
  • Facilitate end-user adoption and ensure effective utilization of implemented systems and processes.
  • Address user concerns and support operational adaptation during implementation phases.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards, business requirements, and project objectives.
  • Support compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy policies, and information security standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and implementation reports.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and governance standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications Education

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology (IT), Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 8 years of experience in project management.
  • At least 2 4 years of experience within the healthcare sector, preferably in hospitals or healthcare IT environments.
  • Proven experience in IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in managing healthcare systems implementation projects is preferred.
Preferred Certifications
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • PRINCE2 Certification
