Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handle all project related activities and Update status in project planner as per company procedure

  • Prepare Design draft and sketches as applicable

  • Coordination with Design / Drawing Dept on pending drawings and assigning priorities

  • Cross Checking and Verification of Drawings as per project and customer requirements

  • Preparation of accurate Bill of Materials

  • Providing Engineering supports for sales team and Attend meetings with client /consultant for technical clarification and ensure that MOM is prepared by Project /Sales Team

  • Checking estimated prices, highlighting and proposing of alternates/substitutes/IHF stock whenever appropriate.

  • Follow up on material status, Subcontracted Works, Free Issue Materials & related issues.

  • Responsible for Preparation, submission and getting approvals of Prequalification / Tender Documents and Project related documentation (Compliance statements, submittals, O&M manuals etc)

  • Prepare & Maintain Engineering Catalog Library, Relevant Engineering Standards & Local / International Rules & Regulations, Standard end-user & Consultant Specifications, Standard Engineering charts, calculations, Standard Technical submittals

  • Standardize design and drawings for efficient and improved performance in engineering

  • Selection of right products to comply specifications and client requirements

  • Recommend improved materials to customers, showing how changes will lower their project costs (Value Engineering)

  • Attending Client / Consultant / Inspection concerns, customer complaints & comments (Technical)

  • Attend Management meetings and prepare project related reports as per instruction

  • Providing After Sales Support to Customer as per procedure

  • Co-ordination with finance department for project invoicing

  • Handle any additional Engineering task assigned by the management

  • Coordinating & arranging for all required gate passes for movement of men & material whenever required.

  • Handle / Support Site Activities (Commissioning, Installation etc)

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience (EPC)

  • Complete project execution experience

  • Water pumping station experience required
