Project Manager (Power Generation / Energy Power Plant (EPCM)

We are seeking an experienced strong>Project Manager Power Plant/strong> to lead site-based project management activities for a major strong>simple cycle gas turbine power plant project/strong> in the UAE.

The Project Manager will oversee strong>overall project execution, coordination, and control at site/strong>, working closely with the strong>client, contractors, and internal engineering teams/strong>. The role reports to the strong>Project Director/strong> and ensures the successful delivery of the project within the agreed schedule, budget, and contractual framework.

This position requires strong experience in strong>EPCM project environments within the power generation sector/strong>, particularly strong>gas turbine power plants/strong>.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall strong>project management and execution at site/strong> for the power plant project.

• Coordinate with strong>client representatives, contractors, and internal engineering teams/strong> to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Act as the strong>primary communication focal point/strong> between stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress and strong>track schedules to identify potential delays or risks/strong>.

• Follow up on strong>design and document review processes/strong> with internal teams and client representatives.

• Coordinate project activities to ensure the strong>successful completion of the project in accordance with contract specifications and project schedule/strong>.

• Manage strong>contractual and commercial aspects/strong> of the project.

• Provide advice to the employer on strong>legal, contractual, and commercial matters/strong>, including strong>claims evaluation/strong>.

• Lead and manage a strong>multidisciplinary consultant team/strong> and monitor team performance.

• Approve key deliverables and take decisions on strong>technical and commercial matters/strong> when required.

• Initiate strong>contract variations and claims management with contractors/strong> when necessary.

• Prepare and submit strong>weekly and monthly progress reports/strong> to project stakeholders.
