The selected Project Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination of the activities planned under a project funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) Amman Office. The project aims to support access to income-generating opportunities for Syrian refugees and the most vulnerable Jordanians in the Governorates of Mafraq, Balqa and Irbid, with a particular focus on women and youth, including persons with disabilities.

Objectives of the position:

• Ensure the coordination, implementation, management and supervision of activities within the timeframes, modalities and budget foreseen by the project;
• Ensure the technical, administrative and financial management of the project in line with the procedures foreseen by the Donor (AICS);
• Ensure the development and maintenance of good relations with the operational and institutional interlocutors involved in the implementation of the project;
• Select, hire, train and supervise local staff;
• Define and monitor project indicators, ensuring effective data collection and analysis, in agreement with the Monitoring and Evaluation expert (M&E Officer);
• Draft, within the established timeframes and modalities, the narrative and financial reports and other documentation related to the project as required by the donor (AICS), as well as periodic reports to the ARCS headquarters;
• Manage the project budget, in agreement with the Administrator, and ensure that all expenses are in line with the approved financial plan and consistent with the project objectives; formulation of financial planning;
• Ensure the dissemination of project results and manage institutional relations with local authorities and international cooperation institutions, with particular regard to AICS, local authorities, the coordination mechanisms established within the coordination WG.
