Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver ICT projects in line with established project management best practices, ensuring client and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Plan, organize, and execute projects from initiation to completion, maintaining focus on scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Facilitate input from project teams and stakeholders to prepare comprehensive project plans and schedules.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and promote adoption of agile principles and continuous improvement.
- Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies appropriately based on project needs and organizational context.
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying performance variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Set and manage clear project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Report regularly on project performance, progress, and key metrics to management and stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets by forecasting requirements, monitoring expenditures, and achieving financial objectives.
- Ensure roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities are clearly communicated across all stakeholders.
- Establish and monitor performance standards and ensure alignment with organizational performance frameworks.
- Identify performance issues promptly and coordinate effective resolution to maintain productivity and morale.
- Serve as the main customer interface throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders at various levels (operational and executive).
- Lead regular customer engagement meetings, status updates, and steering committees to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Understand customer objectives and ensure project outcomes are aligned with their business priorities.
- Manage customer expectations, handle escalations professionally, and drive issue resolution collaboratively.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in relevant fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
- PMP Certification.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically within ICT-related projects.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex ICT projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Proficient with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
