Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Works Manager is the deputy to the Works Director for their assigned area. The Works Director delegates to them the responsibility of managing all teams and subcontractors involved in the works. In this capacity:
- They ensure compliance with safety regulations by the teams working on site; they are assisted in this mission by an HSE manager for their work area. - They
guarantee the quality of the services performed by the subcontractors: they are assisted in this by technicians provided by the Project Management Office.
- They ensure the planning of the works. He is assisted in this task by a joint project manager (OPC) for all the work
. He ensures the availability of the equipment to be installed, liaises with the Supply Chain department for any missing items
, manages co-activity with the other stakeholders in the consortium
, participates in client meetings (site progress)
, provides daily reporting of work carried out
, and prepares monthly progress reports.
