Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager Marine to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives.
What You'll Be Doing:
-
Ensures and assures consistency in the execution of supply chain construction in accordance with Client technical requirements.
-
Coordinate with other delivery partners and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors.
-
Contributes to the development of innovative construction principles and ideas.
-
Leads on unusually complex construction problems and provides solutions that are highly creative, in coordination with project leads.
-
Facilitates partnerships with key stakeholders/organizations impacted by the program.
-
Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments.
-
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Develop and implement strategic plans for the successful execution of the marine and coastal construction project.
-
Align construction activities with overall project objectives and organizational goals.
-
Provide strong leadership to the construction team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
-
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
-
Oversee the execution of quay walls, dredging, piling, and other marine and coastal construction activities.
-
Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
-
Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations throughout the construction process.
-
Implement and manage quality control processes to guarantee the highest standards in construction work.
-
Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any construction deficiencies promptly.
-
Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with the allocated budget.
-
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety.
-
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address unforeseen challenges.
-
Implement contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering related technical/business field.
-
15+ years of related engineering management experience on large scale programs.
-
Incumbent should have a broad, general technical and business background.
-
Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project. Also gets involved in the designs on the project.
-
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and incumbent must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements.
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications
