Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The MEP Project Manager holds full accountability for the delivery of MEP scope on assigned construction projects, managing cost, programme, quality, safety, and client satisfaction across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and ELV disciplines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of MEP works on villa and building construction projects in the UAE.

  • Manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and ELV site teams and subcontractors.

  • Develop and maintain project programme; monitor progress and drive recovery plans where needed.

  • Manage project budgets, cost control, and monthly cost reporting.

  • Represent GESCO in client and consultant progress meetings, RFI responses, and technical submissions.

  • Ensure all MEP works meet contract specifications, authority standards, and quality requirements.

  • Drive HSE culture and enforce compliance across all MEP site activities.

  • Manage subcontractor performance, claims, and change order processes.

  • Oversee MEP commissioning and handover activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (PMP certification preferred).

  • 15–20 years of MEP construction experience with 5+ years as Project Manager at a Tier 1 UAE MEP contractor.

  • In-depth knowledge of UAE MEP authority requirements (DEWA, SEWA, Civil Defence, DM).

  • Strong leadership, commercial awareness, and multi-discipline coordination capability.

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project and document management systems.
