Position Project Manager

Experience 15 yrs

Field Wastewater (experience in design consultancy managing sewer network and STPs)

Mobilization within 2 months

Location Muscat office

Experience in Water, Waste water & Industrial Water Projects Detail Engineering for Pump House, Lifting Stations. Detail of Water supply Distribution Network & Sewerage network 3D Modeling of Pump Houses Piping Engineering. Review of Mechanical & other Interdisciplinary Drawings Conducting & Preparation of Specification for Route Survey Preparation of Mechanical & Piping Detailed engineering drawings Preparation of Layout, PFD, P&ID, Civil Assignment drawings Co-ordination with client/consultant/site team for engineering issues

Role & responsibilities :

Position: 1. Quantity Surveyor : Exp. 5 to 10yrs

2. Senior Quantity Surveyor : Exp. 10 to 12yrs

3. Location: Muscat, Oman.

4. Education: Mechanical engineering

Highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with over 10 years of experience in large-scale Project. Preparation Level (Analyzing and preparing) * Analyzed overall work scope, specification, design data, and unit plot plans. Developed a list of project elements (Structure) to be quantified in the form of facility, FWBS, and CPWBS (Construction work packages) WBS. * Valued the preliminary budget estimate based on the conceptualized engineering drawings. * Estimated quantity based on the design, drawings, specifications, unit price, and methods of measurement. * Quantified for multi-discipline engineering fields, such as Civil, Architectural, Steel Structure, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation. * Developed IFC Quantity Database and records from the IFC approved drawings, with respect to location plans and CWP (Construction work package no) or with respect to the facility, followed standard drawings wherever required.

Sub-Contractor Management: Inviting the Sub Contractors, demonstrating their Scope of work with the sub

Contractor, Preparing BoQ for Sub contracting works after proposing, analyzing & negotiating each items,

Monitoring/Tracking their works, comparing their planned work with actual work & notifying them if any

delay, Evaluating and preparing Monthly Payment Certificate for them

Reports & Analysis: Preparing Summarized Sheet of all measured works, Preparation of Material

Reconciliation sheet, Preparing Monthly VOWD and Preparing Comparison sheets -BoQ Qty VS Shop Drawing

Qty, BoQ Qty VS Actual Qty, Planned VS Actual Delivered Material & Planned VOWD VS Actual VOWD.

Procurement Management: Measure the materials/quantities required by analyzing drawings, Sending

Inquiries to Suppliers for quotations, making comparison statement, preparing plans for the Material deliveries

as per Project requirement, Delivery follow ups & certifying suppliers' invoices.

Final Document Handover: Preparing, collecting, filing and hand over of all the require document to the Client

based on Final document hand over of the Contract

Tendering: Review tender documents for project requirement, Liaising with other departments on technical

input required, draft and distribute RFPs to potential vendors, outlining the specifications and requirements

for products / services, prepare competitive commercial proposals for tenders based on the company's

execution strategies, competitors, and project requirements.
