Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager to join our team!
The Project Manager shall be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and administration of all assigned elements of the Project Management and Construction Management (PMCM) scope for a flagship FIFA stadium in Riyadh, KSA.
The position ensures full compliance with the Client s contractual, technical, and procedural requirements while maintaining alignment between schedule, cost, quality, and health-and-safety objectives. Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager shall act as the Client s primary focal point for allocated project workstreams, ensuring consistent governance and disciplined execution in accordance with the PMCM Scope of Services.
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, and enforce the approved Project Management Plan, Project Procedures Manual, and associated control frameworks across all assigned project packages.
- Plan, organize, and manage project execution to ensure delivery within approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets.
- Direct and coordinate the daily activities of consultants, contractors, and PMCM discipline leads to achieve integrated and efficient delivery across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Oversee all project-control functions, including cost management, progress measurement, schedule tracking, and performance reporting, ensuring full compliance with the Client s standards and reporting formats.
- Review and evaluate contractor submissions, schedules, progress reports, and technical deliverables, confirming adherence to contractual and statutory requirements.
- Identify, assess, and report project risks, potential deviations, and emerging issues related to cost, schedule, or quality; initiate and implement corrective or preventive actions in consultation with the Project Director.
- Maintain close coordination between technical, commercial, and construction teams, ensuring that all interfaces are effectively managed through the approved communication and coordination procedures.
- Support the Project Director in preparing formal project correspondence, executive briefings, and periodic progress reports for submission to the Client.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Client s governance and approval framework, maintaining auditable records of all decisions, reports, and contractual communications.
- Promote professional integrity and high performance among all PMCM team members, ensuring that deliverables and conduct consistently meet the standards prescribed in the PMCM Scope of Services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, capturing lessons learned and recommending enhancements to project management processes and tools.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management from a recognized institution.
- Membership in a professional organization such as PMP, MRICS, or an equivalent internationally recognized certification.
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience, including a proven record in the management of major stadiums, arenas, or large-scale infrastructure developments.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading multidisciplinary project teams within FIDIC-based consultancy environments, ensuring full compliance with contractual, cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern project-management methodologies, controls systems, and reporting frameworks consistent with international best practice.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to represent the Client s interests and maintain alignment across all delivery partners.
