Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

-
  • Estimating project timelines and deadlines and preparing schedules using software and applications to develop work schedules, identifying scheduled tasks, implementation periods, and the resources available for each
  • Managing the cost and resources required to complete the project, including planning and managing human and material resources, equipment, and technicians, estimating expected costs with cost engineers, and monitoring expenditures
  • Preparing specialized documents and reports on engineering work and project progress, presenting, explaining, and storing them in the database according to approved policies and procedures
  • Studying aerial photographs, topographical maps, and relevant hydrological, geological, and environmental reports related to the road project, analyzing alternative routes, and selecting the most suitable one
  • Comprehensive understanding of the various stages of the project (Study - Design - Tendering - Implementation - Preliminary and Final Handover)
  • Communication with relevant parties at the municipality
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Project Management, Budget Design, Spreadsheet Software, Resource Estimation, and Project Management Software
  • Bachelor s degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in project control (costs and scheduling) on comprehensive similar projects
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Soft Skills: Collaboration, teamwork, time management, taking initiative, and the ability to receive and implement feedback
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in specialized tools and techniques relevant to their role, the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision, and problem-solving skills within their area of expertise
