Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials and services, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand technical specifications and project requirements for accurate sourcing.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring favorable conditions that align with project budgets and timelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in the construction or engineering sectors, demonstrating a strong understanding of project needs.
- Certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable.
- Experience working with international suppliers and projects, showing adaptability to diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
