The Project Quantity Surveyor Consultant will be responsible for preparing, updating, and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on issued engineering drawings and project documentation. The role is head-office based and involves close coordination with site Quantity Surveyors to collect, verify, and reconcile quantity, cost, and progress data throughout the project lifecycle. This is a temporary consultancy role established specifically for the duration of the project and does not constitute permanent or ongoing employment.

Key Responsibilities

BOQs & Quantity Management

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from approved IFC and updated engineering drawings.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accurate quantity take-offs.
• Update BOQs to reflect design changes, revisions, and variations.
• Maintain version control and documentation of all BOQ updates.

Coordination with Site Teams

• Liaise with Site Quantity Surveyors to obtain site measurements and progress data.
• Verify site-reported quantities against drawings and contractual BOQs.
• Resolve discrepancies between site measurements and head-office records.

Cost & Commercial Support

• Assist in evaluating variations and re-measured quantities.
• Support interim payment valuations and quantity reconciliation.
• Provide quantity-based input for cost reports.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare periodic quantity summaries and reconciliation reports.
• Ensure BOQs comply with contract requirements and internal procedures.
