Job Summary

The Project Supervisor (Refrigeration Projects) is responsible for overseeing the technical execution of refrigeration projects, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of cold storage, food processing, pharmaceutical cooling, and industrial refrigeration systems. The role involves hands-on supervision of technicians and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards, project timelines, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Executive / Technical Duties

• Refrigeration System Installation & Execution

• Supervise installation of Ammonia and Freon systems
• Oversee welding, piping layout, insulation, and compressor connections
• Monitor installation of cold room panels, relief vents, and air circulation systems

• Refrigeration Piping & System Commissioning

• Supervise refrigerant piping (suction, discharge, liquid, hot gas defrost)
• Lead pressure testing, leak detection, vacuuming, and charging
• Adjust valves, superheat settings, and ensure efficient system startup

• Electrical & Control Systems Supervision

• Oversee installation of panels, PLCs and automation
• Ensure balanced load distribution, sensor calibration, and SCADA integration

• Safety & Ammonia Leak Prevention

• Ensure compliance with international and internal regulations.
• Supervise ammonia leak detection and emergency systems
• Conduct drills and technician training

• Cold Storage Setup & Optimization

• Oversee insulation integrity, vapor barriers, air balancing, and defrost cycles
• Optimize evaporator placement and humidity controls with engineering team
