Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination & Support Assist in scheduling and coordinating project activities, meetings, and workshops. Maintain project calendars and timelines aligned with key milestones. Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely task completion.
  • Documentation & Communication Create and manage project documentation including plans, reports, and meeting minutes. Ensure documentation is current, accessible, and accurately reflects project status. Act as a central point of contact for project stakeholders, providing timely updates. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on objectives.
  • Budget & Finance Management Support the development and monitoring of project budgets across Health and Education components. Track expenditures and ensure alignment with approved allocations and donor requirements. Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budget revisions. Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely submission of official budget change requests. Maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with internal and donor policies.
  • Resource & Stakeholder Engagement Assist in resource allocation and scheduling to optimize project execution. Contribute to stakeholder presentations and financial updates. Foster collaboration with focal staff, including HD eHealth and ED Project Coordinators, to ensure seamless implementation.

Desired Candidate Profile

A first university degree from an accredited educational institution in management, administration, business, accounting, engineering or another related Field is required. At least 4 years of experience in project support and management is required. Experience in the humanitarian, UN sector, or NGOs is required. Very good computer skills in Microsoft office especially MS Excel is required. Knowledge of Palestine refugees and/or humanitarian response and development in the Middle East is desirable. Experience in report and business writing is desirable. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic is required. Are you currently residing in Duty station.
