Projects Controls Specialist

Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)

The Project Controls Specialist will be responsible for detailed analysis of cost, schedule, and scope for all CAPEX/OPEX work programs to achieve the desired portfolio benefits for each asset in Facilities.
The Project Controls Specialist's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Support the team in developing and maintaining portfolio timelines and budgets.

Monitor portfolio performance and progress against established baselines.

Prepare and distribute regular portfolio status reports and forecasts.

Identify and analyze project variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

Develop, maintain, and own key performance indicator reviews for the Facilities department.

Collaborate with project managers to resolve project issues and risks.

Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices.

Assist in the preparation of project documentation and presentations.

Facilitate project meetings and workshops to enhance team collaboration.

Interface with designated Occidental management and client counterparts for specific portfolio management presentations.

Develop and present training classes on designated subjects, as well as on-the-job training for specific processes and practices related to project cost controls.
