Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new project opportunities through networking with consultants, contractors, and developers.
  • Analyze client requirements and blueprints to recommend appropriate technical solutions and product configurations.
  • Prepare and update product documentation, presentations, and sales tools.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimations, payment requirements, procurements, and compliance statements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts and influence decision-makers at the design and specification stage.
  • Collaborate with the installation and design teams to ensure a smooth handoff from "sold" to "execution."
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and new technology to maintain a competitive edge
  • Stay informed about relevant legislation and industry standards.

Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Sales Target Achievement: Meeting or exceeding annual revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Pipeline Conversion: The ratio of submitted technical proposals to successfully awarded contracts.
  • Client Acquisition: Number of new consultants or contractors added to the company s network.
  • Accuracy: Maintaining high accuracy in cost estimations to prevent project budget overruns.

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated, entry level Projects Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue by identifying new business opportunities, providing technical consultations, and managing the sales lifecycle of complex engineering projects. You will act as the bridge between the client s technical requirements and our engineering solutions, ensuring that proposed systems are both technically viable and commercially competitive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, preferably major Power.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in the HVAC or heat pump industry is preferred.
