Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Quotation & Costing

    • Prepare detailed technical and commercial quotations based on customer requirements, BOQs, drawings, and specifications

    • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams for accurate pricing and technical inputs

    • Follow up on submitted quotations and support negotiations as required

    • Maintain records of quotations, revisions, and approvals

    Material Submittals & Technical Documentation

    • Prepare and submit material submittals, technical datasheets, compliance statements, and samples as per project specifications

    • Ensure submittals meet consultant, client, and authority requirements

    • Track approvals, comments, and revisions, ensuring timely resubmission

    • Maintain an organized database of approved materials and vendor documentation

    Customer Handling & Coordination

    • Act as a primary point of contact for customers during pre-sales and post-quotation stages

    • Attend client meetings, technical discussions, and coordination calls when required

    • Address customer queries related to technical specifications, delivery timelines, and documentation

    • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business

    Compliance & Reporting

    • Ensure all quotations and submittals comply with company standards and contractual requirements

    • Prepare regular reports on enquiries, quotations, conversions, and customer feedback

    • Support audits and internal reviews related to sales and marketing documentation

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field)

  • 3–8 years of experience as a Marketing /Project Coordinator or similar role

  • Proven experience in quotation preparation, material submittals, and customer coordination

  • Experience in construction, MEP, manufacturing, or industrial sectors preferred

  • Strong technical understanding and commercial awareness

  • Excellent communication and customer-handling skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQs

  • Good negotiation, follow-up, and time-management skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
