Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop UAV propulsion systems to meet performance and mission requirements

  • Select and size motors, propellers, and ESC systems for optimal efficiency

  • Optimize propulsion systems to improve energy efficiency and flight endurance

  • Perform propulsion system testing, validation, and performance analysis

  • Analyze thrust, power consumption, and efficiency trade-offs

  • Support integration of propulsion systems with UAV airframe and control systems

  • Conduct simulations and assist in prototype development and testing

  • Collaborate with mechanical and avionics teams to ensure system compatibility

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering

  • 3–5 years of experience in propulsion systems, UAVs, aerospace, or robotics

  • Strong understanding of propulsion fundamentals including motors, propellers, and ESC systems

  • Experience in UAV propulsion system design, testing, and optimization

  • Knowledge of aerodynamics and flight mechanics

  • Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools such as SolidWorks, ANSYS, or similar

  • Experience in performance analysis including thrust, power consumption, and efficiency
