Position Overview
Leams Education in Dubai is hiring a Psychology Teacher who will also serve as a Career Counselor within one of its British curriculum schools. The dual role involves teaching Psychology while providing professional academic and career guidance to students. The successful candidate will foster intellectual growth, support emotional well-being, and help students make informed decisions about their future academic and professional pathways.
Core Duties
- Teach engaging Psychology lessons in line with the British curriculum
- Guide students through academic, personal, and career counseling sessions
- Assist students in identifying strengths, interests, and career opportunities
- Collaborate with faculty and school leadership to integrate counseling support into academic planning
- Provide parents with feedback and guidance regarding students career paths and academic growth
- Maintain accurate counseling records and ensure confidentiality of student information
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate Requirements
- Master s degree in Psychology or a related discipline
- 1 2 years of relevant teaching and counseling experience, preferably in the UAE
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust with students and guide them effectively in academic and professional development
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and student-centered environment
