voco Dubai The Palm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Area Team Leader to oversee the daily cleaning operations and ensure the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction across all public spaces. Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate public area attendants to ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and up to hotel standards
* Conduct daily inspections of lobbies, corridors, elevators, pool areas, restrooms, and other public spaces
* Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and storage of cleaning equipment and supplies
* Coordinate with housekeeping and engineering departments for special cleaning projects and repairs
* Monitor cleanliness during peak hours and respond promptly to guest feedback or complaints
* Train and mentor new staff members on cleaning procedures, safety, and brand service standards
* Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning materials and ensure timely replenishment
* Support the preparation of daily rosters and scheduling for the public area team
* Ensure all safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols are consistently followed in accordance with hotel and local regulations
* Promote a positive and cooperative work environment aligned with voco s brand values

Ideal Profile

* Minimum of 1 2 years of experience in housekeeping within a hotel, including at least 6 months in a supervisory or team leader role
* Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and housekeeping equipment
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Physically fit and able to handle light to moderate tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
* Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
* Customer-focused attitude with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
