Job Description

As a Public Relations Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the public perception of the organization. Your primary responsibility is to foster and maintain a positive public image for the company or client. This involves crafting strategic communication plans, engaging with media personnel, and managing information dissemination both internally and externally. You will be the primary point of contact for media inquiries, crafting press releases, and managing reputation through various communication channels. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing public appearances and events that align with the company s branding and objectives. Your expertise in managing public relations will ensure that the company maintains a positive public profile and fosters trust and transparency with stakeholders.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic public relations plans aligned with business goals.
  • Craft and distribute press releases to convey critical company announcements effectively.
  • Act as the primary contact for all media-related inquiries and communications.
  • Organize and manage public appearances and events to enhance company visibility.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare timely reports on PR activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure brand consistency across communication channels.
  • Manage crisis communications to mitigate any negative impacts on the brand's reputation.
  • Maintain relationships with media professionals to ensure positive press coverage.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date media kits and background information materials.
  • Implement social media strategies to engage audiences and enhance public engagement.
  • Analyze public perception and adjust communication strategies to improve relationships.
  • Utilize feedback and data analytics to refine and improve PR strategies continually.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in public relations or media communications roles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are highly required.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in media monitoring software and understanding of media analytics.
  • Strong crisis management skills with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
