Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, interactions with government authorities, and regulatory matters.
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret new laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact the company s operations.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, official statements, and other public communications.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and government agencies as needed.
- Advise senior management on potential legal risks and recommend proactive, compliant solutions.
- Handle licensing, permits, and ensure all company activities comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
- Manage crisis communication and act as the company s spokesperson in sensitive or emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate records of legal, regulatory, and PR-related activities, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to company policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in legal affairs and public relations, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of local and international laws relevant to manufacturing and distribution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with government authorities, media, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
