Position Overview
The Public Transport Compliance Inspector will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing regulations across public, school, tourist, maritime, and international passenger transport operations in Dubai. The role includes field inspections, issuing violations, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with RTA standards to maintain safety and service quality.

What You ll Do

* Inspect charter bus, school, tourist, public, maritime, and international passenger transport operations for compliance with laws and regulations.
* Verify fare payments and approved payment methods, taking appropriate action on violations.
* Conduct inspections of air-conditioned shelters and ensure user compliance with regulations.
* Exercise judicial control powers to issue violations and fines for non-compliance by users and operators.
* Ensure security and safety requirements are met across all transport modes.
* Respond to public inquiries, distribute brochures and maps, and promote awareness of public transport culture.
* Prepare effective reports to improve transport service quality.
* Submit inspection results and reports to supervisors and management.
* Safeguard inspection supplies and maintain them throughout use.
* Carry out inspections in line with daily work schedules assigned by supervisors.
* Participate in public education and awareness activities related to transportation.
* Work flexible hours, including outside official work times, when required.

Ideal Profile

* High school certificate or equivalent.
* 0 2 years of experience in inspection, compliance, or transportation services.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact politely with the public.
* Good attention to detail and ability to detect and report violations accurately.
* Basic computer literacy for reporting and compliance documentation.
* Flexible and dependable, able to perform field duties across varied locations.
