Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of various types of pumps to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pump malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques, to minimize downtime.
- Calibrate and adjust pump settings to meet specific operational requirements, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Install new pumps and associated systems, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and performance metrics for compliance and reporting.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to design and implement pump systems tailored to project needs.
- Provide training and technical guidance to junior technicians and operators on proper pump operation and maintenance.
- Respond to emergency service calls promptly, demonstrating a quick and effective problem-solving ability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in pump technology.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards during all pumping operations and maintenance tasks.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in pump technology is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in pump installation, repair, and maintenance in industrial settings.
- Proven experience with electric and mechanical pumps, including centrifugal and positive displacement types.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, enhancing versatility in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Strong analytical skills to assess issues quickly and develop effective solutions in real-time.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and vendors effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints with precision.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts and overtime as needed.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus, particularly for multinational operations.
