Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.Project: BOMESCJob Title: Punch list coordinatorLocation: Tianjin, ChinaJob DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Punch List Coordinator is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and closeout of punch list activities during the fabrication of offshore platforms. The role ensures that all punch list items are properly recorded, assigned, tracked, and closed in accordance with project requirements, quality standards, and client expectations. This position acts as the central point of communication between construction, QA/QC, commissioning, subcontractors, and client representatives regarding punch list status.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain the project punch list system in line with project procedures (e.g., Hexagon, ICAPS, PIMS, ProCoSys, or similar).Collect and review punch list items raised by construction, QA/QC, commissioning, and client inspectors.Categorize punch items (A, B, C) and assign to responsible disciplines for resolution.Coordinate with construction supervisors, subcontractors, and discipline engineers to ensure timely closure of punch items.Schedule and facilitate punch list walkdowns with project teams and client representatives.Track progress of punch item resolution, providing regular reports to the Construction Manager and Project Management Team.Verify punch item closeout with QA/QC and client representatives, ensuring proper documentation and sign-off.Support Mechanical Completion (MC), Ready for Start-Up (RFSU), and handover milestones by ensuring punch lists are minimized and fully documented.Ensure that punch list activities comply with HSE requirements and project quality standards.Qualifications & ExperienceTechnical diploma/degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience.Minimum 5 10 years of experience in oil & gas projects, with a focus on fabrication, construction, or commissioning.Solid understanding of fabrication processes (structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, coating, etc.).Proven experience in punch list management and completions systems (e.g., Hexagon, ICAPS, PIMS, ProCoSys).Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and multicultural environment.Familiarity with offshore platform project execution and handover processes is an advantage.Experience in shipyards is an advantageKey CompetenciesAttention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Proactive problem-solving and follow-up skills.Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities with client representatives.Results-driven with the ability to work under tight schedules and milestones.What are we looking for?Languages: English Language skills required and basic chinese will be a plus!Technical Knowledge: Platforms fabrication.
