Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify cost-effective purchasing options and quality suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs, balancing supply with demand to optimize stock levels.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, seeking favorable conditions that align with company objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field to provide a strong foundation in procurement principles.
- 2-4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a relevant industry, showcasing a proven track record of effective negotiation.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP) or a similar credential to demonstrate a commitment to professional development.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement software to streamline purchasing processes and enhance efficiency.
