Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities :Vendor Management: Identify and establish relationships with potential suppliers. Maintain and update a list of approved suppliers. Evaluate vendor performance in terms of quality, pricing, delivery time, and compliance.
Procurement & Sourcing:Research and identify potential suppliers based on quality, price, and service. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions of purchase agreements. Ensure procurement of goods and services at optimal costs.
Purchase Orders:Prepare purchase orders based on approved requisitions. Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of goods and services. Track and manage order status, delivery times, and any changes to orders.
Inventory & Stock Control: Work closely with the inventory team to ensure stock levels are maintained. Ensure just-in-time supply of materials to minimize excess inventory.
Cost Control: Monitor and control procurement budgets. Analyze market trends to predict future supply needs. Evaluate total cost of ownership for key procurement decisions.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that procured products meet the required quality and specifications. Work with quality control teams to manage product inspections and address any issues.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and receipts. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, spend analysis, and supplier performance.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with the company’s procurement policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Stay updated on market trends, changes in regulations, and supplier availability.

Attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with procurement software and tools (SAP/ ERP systems).
Qualifications: 18. Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role in the manufacturing and construction filed 20.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and procurement software.
