Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all purchasing operations for the group as per approved policies and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with supplier contracts, procurement policy, and company standards.
  • Supervise and guide procurement staff in day-to-day purchase activities.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure best possible deals, discounts, and terms.
  • Ensure achievement of backend and frontend margin targets at item and category levels.
  • Plan and execute promotional programs, bulk buy campaigns, and price-lock initiatives.
  • Coordinate with branches to ensure timely distribution of stock based on demand and allocation.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor performance data, and price comparisons.
  • Ensure timely renewals of supplier agreements and adherence to credit terms.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Compliance with approved policies and contracts.
  • Supplier negotiation efficiency (savings %).
  • Achievement of backend and frontend margin targets.
  • Operational accuracy and timeliness of purchase orders.
  • Effectiveness in promotions and bulk buy management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5 8 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration.
  • Valid UAE Driving License.
