Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends and vendor performance to make informed purchasing decisions that maximize value and minimize costs.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible prices, terms, and delivery conditions tailored to the organization's needs.
- Manage inventory levels effectively by forecasting demand and ensuring stock availability to prevent operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and develop strategies that align with overall business goals.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is essential to understand procurement fundamentals.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement roles within a similar industry to ensure expertise.
- Professional certifications like Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) will significantly enhance your qualifications.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management to navigate complex agreements effectively.
