Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure the best pricing and terms for materials and services, driving cost savings.
  • Manage purchase orders from creation through delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment while maintaining detailed records for audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments like engineering and production to understand their procurement needs and align purchasing strategies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast future demand to proactively manage procurement and prevent shortages or overstocking.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within a relevant industry.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), enhancing efficiency in purchasing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors, securing cost savings and value.
