Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Track and report on procurement metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing with suppliers in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure timely payment and receipt of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Stay updated on market trends and emerging suppliers to enhance procurement strategies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve supplier issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in computer hardware or networking.
Strong knowledge of the local electronics market (Alexandria).
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze and compare supplier offers and contracts.
