Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and competitive pricing for plastic packaging production.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors to secure optimal procurement deals.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of raw materials such as PET, PE, and PP.
Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to align purchasing activities with operational needs.
Track supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain strong, long-term vendor relationships.
Analyze market trends and conduct cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supplier management.
Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance for management review.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Proven ability to evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
