Roles & Responsibilities
Technical and Budgetary Skills (Hard Skills)
- Budgetary and Financial Management: Mastery of the construction, monitoring and optimization of purchasing budgets.
- Cost Analysis: Ability to analyze cost structures, calculate TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and optimize margins.
- Proficiency in Tools: Knowledge of ERP software (SAP, Oracle) and SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) tools.
- Legal Skills: Good knowledge of contract law and commercial law.
- Sourcing and Analysis: Ability to assess needs, source suppliers, and analyze bids
Negotiation and Sourcing Skills
- Negotiation Techniques: Ability to negotiate prices, deadlines and contractual conditions to obtain the best value for money.
- Supplier Management: Selection, evaluation and retention of suppliers, while managing supply chain risks.
Managerial Skills and Leadership
- Team management: Leading and guiding a team of buyers to achieve set objectives.
- Communication and Diplomacy: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with suppliers and other internal departments (production, finance).
- Anticipation: The ability to anticipate market developments and adapt the purchasing strategy.
Modern Challenges (CSR and Digitalization)
- CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility): Integrating environmental and social criteria into the selection of suppliers.
- Digital Transformation: Mastering new technologies and artificial intelligence applied to procurement.
- Summary of objectives: Control costs: Reduce expenses.
- Guaranteeing quality: Ensuring the conformity of supplies.
- Managing risks: Securing the supply chain.
- Bachelor's degree (3 years of higher education) to Master's degree (5 years of higher education) in management, finance or purchasing
- 3 to 5 years of minimum experience
