Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are hiring a highly experienced Purchasing Cum Logistics Professional for one of the prestigious apparel manufacturing groups in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in fabric and accessories sourcing, especially from China, along with solid logistics and shipment handling experience.
Complete sourcing of fabrics, trims, and garment accessories
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
Cost control and price comparison analysis
Handling purchase orders and supplier coordination
Managing import/export documentation and shipping procedures
Coordination with freight forwarders and clearing agents
Ensuring timely delivery of raw materials to support production planning
Monitoring stock levels and preventing material shortages
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 10+ years of experience in Apparel Industry Purchasing
Strong knowledge of China fabric and accessories markets (mandatory)
Experience in price negotiation and supplier development
Good understanding of import/export and logistics procedures
Ability to work independently and handle pressure
Strong communication and coordination skills
Advantage:
✔ If the candidate has visited China and has knowledge of fiber types, textile sourcing regions, and cost factors area-wise, it will be considered a strong advantage.
