Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Assist the procurement team in sourcing products and services. Procurement of all types of materials spares, consumables, office supplies, electronics, IT Purchases, and services etc; through Purchase Orders (PO) or contracts. Responsible from P.R. (purchase requisition) to receipt and ensure supplier payment is made on time. This list may be added from time to time as per company policy and requirements.

2. Support supplier communication and relationship management as per Tender policy.

3. To comply/adhere to standard procurement policy, legal requirements, internal policies and Audit requirement.

4. Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and requirements.

5. Participate in supplier research, cost analysis, and market trend monitoring.

6. Learn negotiation, procurement processes, contract management, vendor Management. Ready to understand Supplier credit terms, relationships, supply chain, technical issues, interface between supplier and company officials of various depts as per the procurement standard policies.

7. Coordination with MPRO (Group procurement) and APMT Global procurement team for frame agreements, E sourcing, general purchases, attending procurement forums and implementing decisions /actions, maximizing savings for the company.

8. Implementing strategic sourcing projects and realize the P&L saving for the Company.

9. Assist other support functions for business case evaluation including risk analysis and mitigation.

10. Support initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness in procurement.

11. Assist in learning and executing the supplier registration process in accordance with procurement policies and standards.

12. Developing market knowledge and contacts for new suppliers, products and services.

13. Performs any other related activities, as requested time to time.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Education: Fresh graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related field.

2. Experience: Not applicable

3. Skills:

a. Strong communication - Excellent Command of oral and written English

b. Effective interpersonal skills.

c. Requires excellent analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data, and Excel spreadsheet proficiency.

d. Positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn

e. Requires exceptional time management, due to fast-moving, demanding work environment.

f. Must be able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.

g. Business Acumen - Good organizational and analytical abilities

h. Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a team.

i. Eagerness to take initiative and learn new systems or processes

j. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

4. Equipment and Applications:

a. Must be able to use a desktop and laptop computer with ease, including M S office, Outlook, Internet and ERP application.

b. Must have professional appearance, consistent with local customs.
