Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure vehicles from dealers, auctions, suppliers, and individual sellers in alignment with showroom inventory needs

  • Evaluate vehicles based on condition, mileage, history, market demand, and resale value

  • Conduct thorough inspections and due diligence, including service history and documentation verification

  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and purchase agreements to achieve the best possible value for the company

  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, dealers, and industry contacts

  • Monitor automotive market trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activity to ensure strategic purchasing decisions

  • Collaborate with the sales and management teams to forecast demand and plan stock levels effectively

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase orders, contracts, and delivery coordination

  • Ensure all purchased vehicles comply with company quality standards and legal requirements

  • Coordinate logistics, transportation, and vehicle intake processes

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, supplier details, and pricing data

  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and reduce costs

  • Support inventory management by tracking stock turnover and aging vehicles

  • Assist in setting pricing strategies based on acquisition cost and market conditions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive purchasing, procurement, or a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle evaluation and market pricing

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills

  • Ability to analyze market data and make informed purchasing decisions

  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets

  • Valid driver’s license (preferred)
