Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality in procurement.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, negotiating contracts that secure favorable terms and ensure reliable supply chains.
  • Manage supplier relationships, addressing performance issues proactively to foster long-term partnerships that support business needs.
  • Analyze inventory levels and trends to optimize purchasing schedules and reduce excess stock, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing or retail environment.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
