Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage all non-agricultural procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials, tools, equipment, and services required for smooth company operations.

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices and reliable supply.
  • Handle purchasing of engineering spare parts, maintenance needs, service contracts, utilities-related supplies, cleaning materials, office supplies, and other operational requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and monitor performance to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and purchasing procedures.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, maintenance, production support, administration, finance, and warehouse teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree

  • 5 10 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the frozen and chilled food industry or similar industrial sectors.
  • Strong experience in purchasing spare parts, machinery, tools, engineering supplies, packaging materials (if applicable), services, PPE, and general operational requirements.
  • No involvement in raw produce (vegetables & fruits) purchasing from farms.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and cost-control capabilities.
