Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.
Oversee daily purchasing operations, supervise staff, and allocate tasks efficiently.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms.
Maintain and update supplier databases, purchase records, and relevant documentation.
Collaborate with supply chain and planning teams to manage inventory requirements.
Ensure all procured goods meet required quality standards and technical specifications.
Prepare cost analyses, forecast, and manage procurement budgets.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers to optimize performance and cost.
Continuously improve purchasing systems, procedures, and internal workflows.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
Establish and track procurement KPIs such as cost reduction, on-time delivery, and supplier quality performance.
Collaborate with Finance, Production, and Quality teams to align purchasing activities with operational goals.
Identify and mitigate risks in supply continuity, pricing, and quality.
Support sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives where applicable.
Train and mentor team members on procurement processes and system usage.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement best practices, and supplier evaluation.
Proven supervisory and team leadership experience.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Odoo systems is highly preferred.
Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-growing company environment.
