Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals and budgetary constraints.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the purchasing team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor and analyze purchasing data, market trends, and supplier performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Oversee the preparation and processing of purchase orders, requisitions, and related documentation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize procurement efficiency.
- Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analyses, and supplier performance for senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a healthcare and construction.
- Proven track record of managing procurement teams and leading process improvements.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make strategic purchasing decisions.
- Experience with contract management and supplier relationship management in healthcare services and construction.
- Solid understanding of procurement regulations, compliance standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
