Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals and budgetary constraints.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the purchasing team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze purchasing data, market trends, and supplier performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of purchase orders, requisitions, and related documentation.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize procurement efficiency.
  • Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analyses, and supplier performance for senior management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a healthcare and construction.
  • Proven track record of managing procurement teams and leading process improvements.
