Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain positive and efficient supplier relations
Research and evaluate prospective suppliers
Evaluate supply options and review available records
Plan for the timely purchase of products, services and supplies according to the company s needs
Receive all purchasing needs and requests from the different departments of the company
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations
Execute all local and foreign purchasing transactions related to the technical, operational and administrative side of the business while enforcing the company s procurement policies and procedures
Handle the logistics operations related to the import and export of products
Negotiate purchase terms and conditions with suppliers to optimize the transactions
Follow up on orders and ensure timely delivery
Issue and maintain accurate purchase records and reports including cost analysis, tracking of the purchasing operation and supplier information
Create and follow key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Report regularly to supervisor on execution challenges, supplier s service, market indicators, etc.
