Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Review Material Requisitions (MR), BOQ, drawings, and specifications
Prepare and issue RFQs and obtain quotations from approved suppliers
Prepare Quotation Comparison Sheets (QCS) and coordinate technical approvals
Issue and manage Purchase Orders (PO) with complete specifications and delivery details
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
Procure project materials such as steel, pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, consumables, and coatings
Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, site, logistics, and stores teams
Ensure quality compliance, MTC documentation, and adherence to project standards
Maintain procurement records and vendor database
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Min. of 7-10 Years of Experience of local purchasing UAE
Understanding of mechanical construction materials
Ability to read basic engineering drawings
Strong negotiation skills
Vendor sourcing capability
Knowledge of project procurement cycles
ERP / procurement software knowledge
