Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and delivery terms for raw materials and components.

Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors, maintaining strong professional relationships to secure favorable agreements.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely procurement of required materials.

Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or issues with suppliers.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for audit and reporting purposes.

Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.

Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and align procurement strategies with production schedules.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.

Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Participate in supplier evaluations and performance reviews to maintain a high-quality supply base.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

3-5 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.

Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build effective supplier relationships.

Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and inventory control.

Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make informed purchasing decisions.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, office-based setting.

Knowledge of local and international sourcing practices is an advantage.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving supply chain challenges.
