Roles & Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for fire fighting equipment, systems, and related materials in accordance with project specifications and company standards.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure optimal value and timely procurement of goods.
Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation for fire protection and security system components.
Coordinate with engineering, project management, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate material forecasting and inventory control.
Monitor supplier performance, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and manufacturers.
Track and report on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier compliance to management.
Ensure all purchased materials comply with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Assist in the evaluation and onboarding of new suppliers, conducting due diligence and risk assessments.
Support tendering processes by obtaining competitive quotations and preparing comparative analyses.
Stay updated on market trends, new products, and innovations in fire fighting and security systems procurement.

3 to 5 years of proven experience in purchasing or procurement, within fire fighting contracting companies or related industries.
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, equipment, and relevant technical specifications.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and vendors.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement management software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical documents and supplier proposals.
Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations and standards.
Willingness to work onsite and coordinate with various teams and stakeholders.
