Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage local and foreign procurement operations and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to review and validate technical specifications of required materials and equipment.
  • Oversee the procurement of heavy equipment, spare parts, bus components, elevators, and escalators.
  • Assess and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality, compliance, and timely delivery standards.
  • Develop and submit regular procurement performance reports to executive management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and legal standards.
  • Leverage ERP systems to optimize procurement operations, with a strong preference for SAP expertise.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering both technical proficiency and managerial capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • In-depth understanding of foreign procurement, import regulations, and supply chain management practices.
  • Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
  • Proven capacity to perform effectively in Fast-paced environments while driving strategic procurement decisions.
