Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for medical devices and supplies in accordance with company standards and requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and forecast demand for medical products.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely procurement to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Review and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving any issues related to delivery, quality, or payment.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance to management.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and proper storage of purchased goods.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the medical devices or healthcare sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced office environment.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in medical procurement.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical purchasing practices and continuous improvement.
