Roles & Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for medical devices and supplies in accordance with company standards and requirements.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and forecast demand for medical products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely procurement to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Review and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving any issues related to delivery, quality, or payment.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance to management.
  • Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and proper storage of purchased goods.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the medical devices or healthcare sector.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced office environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in medical procurement.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical purchasing practices and continuous improvement.
