Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and delivery terms for food ingredients and operational materials.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements and maintain cost-effectiveness.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs and avoid shortages or overstock situations.

Process purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of goods to support uninterrupted restaurant operations.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for reporting and audit purposes.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and resolve any issues promptly.

Conduct regular market research to stay informed about trends, new products, and potential suppliers.

Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to understand product specifications and quality requirements.

Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the food industry.

Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships effectively.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier performance and market trends.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities.

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance is a plus.
